Congress Cottage
A Home for Multi-Family Retreats
in Berkeley Springs, WV
Congress Cottage is a renovated 100-year old
house in the Town of Bath (Berkeley Springs), West Virginia.
It is 90 miles from DC or Baltimore beltways, just 6 miles
off I-70.
The cottage is on a quiet side street within
easy walking distance (three blocks) from the center of town).
It sleeps 7 in the main 4 bedrooms and there are an additional
3 beds in the finished attic. It is ideal for a family or
even two or three families to come together for a weekend
or vacation.
The Town of Bath has been a popular spa since
at least the mid 18th century. George Washington, among others,
bathed here. The mineral springs are now the central feature
of a small state park a few blocks from where one can have
a relaxing soak in the waters, followed by a massage. We recommend
booking ahead for a soak and ½ hour massage which is
$40 Mon-Thurs or $45 Fri-Sun. Berkeley Springs has numerous
restaurants and antique shops, and it is an excellent center
for exploring the beauty of Morgan County.
